See where your peers are
eMule Qt shows a country flag beside every client, download source, server, Kad contact, friend and news server, in the MorphXT style long-time eMule users know. The flag sits right after the row’s icon, and hovering a source shows the country by name.
A Country column where you want one
Each list also has a Country column with the full name, sortable like any other. It starts hidden; right-click a list header to show it. The lookup happens in the daemon, so the flags are there whether the GUI runs on the same machine or attaches over the network.
A database that stays current
Country data comes from MaxMind GeoLite2. A copy ships with every release, so flags work from the first start with no account and no download. If you add a free MaxMind account ID and license key, the daemon also refreshes the database weekly on its own. A newer bundled copy is adopted on upgrade, and a newer download is never rolled back by an older release. The license key is never written to a log.
